About the Project
Your Tasks
-
Use European projects footage to produce short, engaging video clips to highlight Europe project goals and impact on different target audience groups
-
Establish an understanding of the photographic content held by the department and then organize, add meta-data, and catalog photos and footage using the appropriate database and platforms for different needs and audiences (Sharepoint, Smugmug, Conservation Photos, MS Stream, Youtube)

Ensure that all photographic material storage locations are well organized and structured and that all legal documents (Image License Agreements, Consent Forms) are completed and filed

Act as the link between the Europe department and the FZS Global Communications team to ensure information flow in both directions in relation to photography and videography

Support high quality and consistency of all public communications
Your Profile
-
Studies, or equivalent experience, in communications, media, online communication, photography, videography, journalism, nature conservation, biology, environmental studies, or related fields

Exceptional IT skills, knowledge of digital storage and cataloging tools

Experience in photography and videography, including video production and editing

An eye for photography and creative content

Experience using Adobe Lightroom, Bridge, Photoshop, and Premier (or DaVinci Resolve)

Good written and verbal communication skills (English and preferably German)

Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines Perseverance for lengthy ‘legwork’ tasks with attention to detail

Energetic “roll up the sleeves” work ethic, creative out-the-box thinking, and attention to detail

A passion for wilderness and nature conservation
