Dr. Christof Schenck awarded One World Medal
Congratulations to FZS Executive Director Dr. Christof Schenck! On October 28th, the German Development Minister, Dr. Gerd Müller, presented Dr. Schenck with the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) One World Medal at the Day of Encounters at the BMZ in Bonn. Together with Dr. Schenck, seven other people were awarded the One World and Rupert Neudeck medals at the event. Both medals stand for responsible, sustainable, and personal commitment.
For Christof Schenck, the award is an incentive to continue: “This medal, which I am very happy about, actually goes to the whole FZS team, which is confronting the triple crisis of climate change, biodiversity loss and pandemics with great strength and motivation.” All medals given at the event are made of fairly produced materials and made in Tübingen, Germany.
